However, we understand that sometimes a component might not be the perfect fit for your build. Our Returns & Exchanges policy is designed to be as straightforward and reliable as our 1-2 day order processing.

Core Policy: We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of you receiving the shipment, provided the product is in its original, uninstalled, and resalable condition with all packaging and accessories.

The Return & Exchange Process: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Initiate Your Request: Within the 15-day window, contact our support team at [email protected]. Use the subject line “Return/Exchange Request” and include your order number.
  2. Receive Authorization & Instructions: Our team will review your request and, if approved, email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions for shipping the item back to our facility. Returns without an RMA number cannot be processed.
  3. Pack and Ship:
    • Securely pack the item in its original packaging, including all manuals, parts, and accessories.
    • Clearly write the provided RMA number on the outside of the box.
    • Ship the package to the address provided in your instructions. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  4. Inspection & Completion: Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund or the shipment of your exchange item.

Product Name: [Name of the product as listed on the website] Reason for Request: [e.g., Incorrect product, Changed mind, Defective item (please describe)] For exchanges, desired replacement item: [Product Name & SKU if known] I confirm the item is in its original, uninstalled condition with all packaging and accessories. My full name and shipping address for verification: [Your Full Name] [Your Shipping Address] Please provide the RMA number and return instructions. Thank you, [Your Name] [Your Phone Number – Optional, but helpful]

Refunds: Timing & Method

  • Timing: After we approve the return upon inspection, please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to be processed back to your original payment method.
  • Method: Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used during purchase (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). Please note that your bank or financial institution may require additional time to post the refund to your account. International transaction fees charged by your bank are not refundable by Stinger Audio Store.
  • Exchanges: For exchanges, once the return is approved, we will ship the replacement item using your preferred shipping method. Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

Products That Cannot Be Returned

Based on the nature of our specialized inventory, the following items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive dead on arrival or are fundamentally defective:

  • Opened or Installed Electronics: Any product where the serial number seal is broken, or the item has been installed, wired, or mounted. This includes:
    • Amplifiers (Amps, Hi-Res Amplifiers)
    • Receivers (Android Auto Receivers, Apple CarPlay Receivers, CD/DVD Receivers)
    • Backup Cameras & Dash Cams
    • Car Alarms & Remote Start Systems
    • Installed Detectors
  • Cut or Modified Items: Any wiring, speaker cable, or installation accessory (from ATV/UTV Accessories & Installation Parts, Car Accessories categories) that has been cut, trimmed, or otherwise altered from its original state.
  • Special Order/Clearance Items: Any item explicitly marked as “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase.

Why? These policies ensure that every component our community receives is guaranteed to be brand new and fully functional, protecting the integrity of your build and our inventory.
